Homage to Brunelleschi, a masterful sculpture by Marino di Teana

Created in 1985, “Hommage à Brunelleschi” is part of the “Space ship” series.

By paying homage to Filippo Brunelleschi, prestigious architect of the Italian Renaissance, author of the dome and the lantern of the Cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiore in Florence, Marino Di Teana celebrates both artist and man, both sculptor and the architect.

In 1986, the monumental sculpture was placed in front of the Finantzbauamt Saarbrucken (Saar Finance Ministry, Saarbrucken).

Ferus Gallery is proud to have contributed to the recognition of the work of Marino di Teana. This summer, copy number 7/8 was sold and installed in the gardens of a prestigious collector on the heights of Nice.
